These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website bfecharters.com, operated by Big Fish Energy Charters ("we," "us," "our"), and your booking of fishing charter trips with us. By using our website or booking a trip, you agree to these Terms.

Use of This Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of the site.

Booking a Charter

  • Requests submitted through our website or by phone are inquiries only and are not confirmed until we contact you directly to confirm your date, trip, and any deposit or payment.
  • Trip prices, availability, and dates shown on the website are subject to change and are not a binding offer until confirmed.
  • A valid government-issued fishing license is not required from you — it is included in your charter — but all guests are expected to follow applicable state and federal fishing regulations while aboard.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Weather

Our current cancellation policy is described on our FAQ page. Safety is our top priority: if weather or sea conditions are unsafe, Captain Jon may cancel or reschedule a trip at his discretion. Weather-related cancellations are not subject to a cancellation fee.

No Guarantee of Catch

Fishing is inherently unpredictable. While we work hard to put you on fish, we do not guarantee any particular catch, species, or quantity on any trip.

Assumption of Risk

Boating and fishing involve inherent risks, including but not limited to weather, water conditions, and handling of fishing equipment. By boarding our vessel, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow the captain and crew's safety instructions at all times.

Intellectual Property

All text, photos, videos, and other content on this website are owned by Big Fish Energy Charters or used with permission, and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written consent.

Third-Party Links & Services

Our website links to and embeds third-party services, including FishingBooker, Google Maps, Facebook, and Instagram. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Big Fish Energy Charters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable maritime or state law.
